Hanjing .P
Founder of Lucent Pilates | Comprehensively Certified Pilates Instructor
Hanjing’s Pilates journey began as a personal practice and quickly grew into a passion for understanding the method on a deeper level. Within her first three months of discovering Pilates, she completed more than 100 classes. That experience inspired her to pursue professional teacher training through Equinox and ultimately build a career centered around Pilates, movement, and strength.
Since then, Hanjing has continued to deepen her education across both classical and contemporary Pilates methods. Her training includes comprehensive Pilates teacher training through Equinox, the Balanced Body Bridging Program, and advanced continuing education through Balanced Body and BASI Pilates.
Her continuing education includes the Balanced Body Advanced Workshop for Lower Back, taught by Nora St. John, as well as BASI Pilates’ advanced Pilates for Pathologies and Injuries, Parts I and II, taught by physical therapist and Pilates instructor Samantha Wood. These advanced studies have expanded her understanding of movement, exercise modification, and thoughtful programming for clients with a wide range of abilities, goals, and movement needs.
Hanjing’s teaching approach combines a strong foundation in classical Pilates with contemporary movement principles and strength training. She emphasizes precise instruction, intelligent progression, and individualized programming, helping clients build strength, improve movement quality, develop greater body awareness, and feel more confident in their practice.
As the founder of Lucent Pilates, Hanjing created a studio centered on personalized instruction, thoughtful programming, and long-term client development. She remains committed to continuing education and to bringing an informed, evolving, and highly individualized approach to every client she teaches.
